CONCEPTUAL BASES OF FORMATION OF THE TRANSPORT COMPLEX OF RUSSIA
Abstract
Present Russian transport problems are discussed in general terms. Transport plays specific role and seriously impacts Russian economy in terms of its efficiency and competitiveness, as well as Russian population living standards in terms of the country’s social and economic development. Transport is an economic concept. Transport product specific features impartially and naturally
determine exclusivity of the branch. Public efficiency and internal efficiency of the transport branch are conflicting, objective roots of this contradiction are discussed on scientific basis.
