Abstract
The problems of development of Russian innovation sector, taking into account progress level, global trends and prospects of both science and the conditions of social and economic development. The studies were conducted in the framework of the Program of the Presidium of RAS «Analysis and Forecast of long-term scientifi c trends and technological development: Russia and the World». The results led to the conclusions about the long-term goals, and the possible ways of achieving them.
