Abstract
The article examines the main indicators of the labor market in Russia given the global economic crisis. The main factors contributing to the slowdown in the growth rate of unemployment. Analyzed the degree of influence the diff erentiation of pay levels by type of economic activity to changes in the employment structure. Analyzed the level of employment in the informal sector of economy of Russia for 2007-2013 Studied the reasons for the growth of informal employment in Russia. As a result of the analysis the conclusion is made about the need to reduce informal employment.
